Harlequin #1 (SOLD)
Harlequin. A Legend in Crocodile Leather
Microtech is a name that has become a symbol of excellence in the world of knives. Founded in 1994 by Anthony Marfione, the brand today continues to live on through the creativity of his son Antonio, who introduces new lines with unique character and his own vision.
It is worth noting that the Harlequin collection of knives is presented as part of the Heretic line (sometimes referred to in Ukraine as “Yeretik”), a separate brand created by the son of Microtech’s founder. While preserving the high quality and recognizable style, this line carries its own character and unique design vision.
A special custom series of Harlequin knives was created by Oleksandr Radchenko, where Microtech’s/Heretic’s classic heritage meets art and symbolism. The unique alligator leather finish transforms each piece into a true work of art.
The set is presented in a flawlessly crafted wooden box. From the very first glance, one can feel the refinement and premium character of every detail. On the box lies a business card with a QR code leading to the website of designer Oleksandr Radchenko. It is made from the same leather as the knife inside — in this case, North American alligator.
🔹 The series consists of 7 knives — numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8 (excluding “six,” which the designer deliberately avoids using).
🔹 Knife №1 is special. It combines 8 colors: in the center — the flag of Ukraine, on the left black and green (the colors of the military, a symbol of resistance), on the right red-burgundy-black (the colors of blood and the land suffering under occupation).
🔹 The following knives in the series carry conceptual shades:
-
Harlequin Grey — 8 shades of grey
-
Harlequin Blue — 8 shades of blue
-
Harlequin Red — 8 shades of red
-
Harlequin Green — 8 shades of green
And two additional models feature shades chosen by clients.
This series is not just a weapon. It is a story engraved in steel and leather. A story of strength, symbols, and art embodied in every Harlequin.
